Privacy
We count visits anonymously. If you say yes, we also record how the site is used, so we can see what works. Apart from that we only receive what you choose to write to us. Here is the full picture.
Who is responsible
This site is run by Brink Studio AS, org. no. 837 452 562, Oslo, Norway. If you have questions about privacy, email hei@brinkstudio.no.
What we collect
The site has no user accounts and no hidden data collection. When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your first and last name, your email address, what you write and any budget and start date you pick.
We also count page views anonymously, and if you have said yes, we record how you use the site. There is more about both under “Cookies and analytics”.
What we use it for
We use it to reply to you. You will not end up on a mailing list, and we do not pass your details on. The legal basis is legitimate interest under GDPR article 6(1)(f): you get in touch, and we answer.
Where it is processed
The contact form is provided by Formspree, a US service. Your message is stored with them and forwarded to our email. The transfer to the US is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
The site is hosted by Vercel, also a US service, which provides the visitor statistics. That transfer is based on the same standard contractual clauses.
Recordings of visits are stored with PostHog on servers in the EU (Frankfurt). PostHog is a US company, and any transfer to the US is also based on the standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it
We delete enquiries no later than twelve months after the conversation has ended. If an enquiry turns into a project, we keep what the contract and our accounting require.
Cookies and analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you across websites. Visits on the same day are linked by an anonymous value that is deleted after 24 hours, so we cannot see who you are. The legal basis is legitimate interest under article 6(1)(f): we want to know which pages are useful.
If you say yes in the banner at the bottom of the page, we also use PostHog. Your browser then stores a cookie and a value in local storage that recognise your visit, and we record how you use the site: which pages you see, where you click and how far you scroll. Anything you type into forms is hidden in the recording, and your IP address is not stored. Recordings are deleted after 30 days. The legal basis is your consent under article 6(1)(a), and you can withdraw it here at any time.
Your choice is stored in your browser. The fonts are served from our own server.
You have not answered yet, so we are not recording anything.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have stored about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to the processing. Send us an email and we will sort it out. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page.
