Ninth Pit privacy policy
Ninth Pit has no account and never asks who you are. Your game is saved on your phone. The game shows ads from Google only when you choose to watch one, and you can buy Ninth Pit Pro through the App Store or Google Play.
Who is responsible
Ninth Pit is published by Brink Studio AS (BRINK), org. no. 837 452 562, Oslo, Norway. If you have questions about privacy in the game, email hei@brinkstudio.no.
What is stored on your phone
Your progress, settings and whether you own Ninth Pit Pro are saved in a file on your device. BRINK has no copy of it and no server that receives it.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, or your Android phone to your Google account, the save file is included in the backup in the same way as data from your other apps.
Ads
The game shows rewarded video ads from Google AdMob, and only when you tap a button to watch one in exchange for a boost or double offline earnings. Ninth Pit Pro removes the need to watch them.
To deliver and measure ads, Google's ad software in the game collects information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system, and how you interact with the ads. Google is responsible for this processing. You can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before any ads load. You can choose whether Google may use your data for personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings > Ad privacy choices in the game. On iPhone the game does not ask to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so the ads it shows there are not personalised on that basis.
Purchases
Ninth Pit Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. They process the payment, and we never see your card details or your Apple or Google account. The game asks the store whether you own Pro, so that a reinstall or a new phone can restore it.
Technical data sent to Unity
The game is built with Unity. When it starts, the Unity engine sends anonymous hardware statistics such as the device model, operating system and graphics capabilities to Unity Technologies, and the purchase module may send technical error reports. These do not contain your name, email address or game progress.
Deleting your data
Deleting the game removes your save file from the phone. Copies in older device backups remain until those backups are deleted or replaced. A purchase of Ninth Pit Pro stays with your Apple or Google account.
To reset the identifier used for ads, use your phone's settings (on Android: Settings > Google > Ads; on iPhone the identifier is not shared with the game unless you allow tracking). If you have questions or want to use your privacy rights, email hei@brinkstudio.no. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Children
Ninth Pit is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
If a future version of the game handles data differently, we will update this page and the date below.
This policy covers the game. If you email us, we use your message only to reply, as described in the privacy policy for brinkstudio.no.
Effective from 3 November 2026.
